Where is my money today? Where will it be next week?
The old way
- A healthy balance on Monday, a payroll question on Friday.
- A spreadsheet that was right two weeks ago.
- Accounting that tells you what already happened.
- One project quietly draining the others.
With Plumb
- Cash on hand, receivables, payables, and your net position over the next 30 days.
- A projected balance and the date it goes negative.
- The milestones and payments behind every number, one click away.
- Each job’s collected draws, obligations, and burn rate side by side.
What you can do
One dashboard
The numbers that matter, on one screen
Cash on hand, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and your net position over the next 30 days — for one project or all of them. The figures come from the work orders, milestones, and payments already in Plumb, not from anything you re-enter.
Projected balance
When does this project run out of money?
Plumb lays what is due to subs against what is due from the client and charts the projected balance forward, with a warning on the date it goes negative. Then you have time to do something about it.
Cash by job
Which project is draining the rest
Every active project on one grid: contract value, collected draws, next draw, obligations, net, and burn rate — with a projected date and a health line like 'draw overdue since' that tells you where to look first.
Project finances
Every number has its receipts
Open any project and see the milestones, work orders, and payments behind the figure — money in from the client, money out to subs, and what is still in flight. No reconciling; it is the same data.
Simple pricing. No surprises.
Every plan includes every feature. Subs never pay to get paid.
Basic
$99/mo8 payments included, then $16 each
Builder
$199/mo15 payments included, then $12 each
Pro
$299/mo25 payments included, then $8 each
Questions
Is this accounting software?
No. Plumb tells you where the money is and where it is going; your accounting software tells you what happened. Plumb sits beside your books.
Does it connect to QuickBooks?
Not today. Payments and commitments are recorded in Plumb as they happen.
How is the projected balance calculated?
From the timing and amounts of what is due to subs against what is due from the client, using the milestones and payments already on the project.
Is the finance dashboard finished?
Not yet — it is marked Beta in the app. The figures come from your recorded activity; treat them as directional until the page leaves beta.
What's live today, and what's next?
The finance dashboard, the cash flow forecast and calendar, cash by job, and per-project and per-work-order finances are live. Next: seeing gaps and lien risk further ahead, before they become emergencies.
